This shipment has been delayed at the post office according to postal authorities of Greenland. They promise to have shipments made in the next two weeks.
This is the fifth and final science segment for Greenland and it involves the mineral, cryolite, and Greenland gold. There is a third stamp (not shown) to the set featuring the Atlantic Footballfish, known in scientific circles as the Himantolophus groenlandicus (also known as the sea devil). The set was also issued in a souvenir sheet. All three stamps are a combination of offset and intaglio printing while a metallic gold overprint is featured only on the Nalunaq Gold Mine issue.
